The launch asset pack
Every form wants the same eight things at slightly different dimensions. Make them once, in these sizes, and you'll never stall mid-submission again.

| Asset | Size | Format | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Square logo | 512 × 512 | PNG, transparent | The single most-requested asset. No text, no padding. |
| Square logo on solid | 512 × 512 | PNG | Some directories reject transparency. Same mark, brand background. |
| Wide banner | 1280 × 800 | PNG or JPG | The default social/preview size. Screenshot, not a graphic. |
| Gallery screenshots | 1280 × 800 | PNG | Three to five. Real product, real data, no lorem ipsum. |
| Favicon | 32 × 32 | ICO or PNG | Rarely asked for, always missing when it is. |
Text
TAGLINE (50-60 chars)
What it does, for whom. No adjectives.
e.g. "Invoice reminders that sound like a human wrote them"
SHORT DESCRIPTION (150-160 chars)
Tagline plus the one differentiator. This is your meta description too.
MEDIUM DESCRIPTION (300-400 chars)
Problem, what you built, who it's for. Three sentences.
LONG DESCRIPTION (800-1000 chars)
The medium one plus: what it doesn't do, what it costs, who it isn't for.
CATEGORIES (pick 2-3 and reuse them everywhere)
TAGS (5, lowercase, no hashes)
PRICING (one line: "Free", "Free tier, $12/mo after", "$49 once")The rest
- A dedicated email alias —
you+directories@yourdomain. Filterable, and it tells you who sold your address. - A working demo or a video under 60 seconds. Increasingly required, and the fastest way past a manual reviewer.
- A public pricing page, even if the answer is free. Its absence gets submissions rejected more often than any other missing item.
- A real contact page or email on your site. Several directories check.
- Founder name, photo and a one-line bio. Maker-focused sites all ask.
